►C. Milton Wright High School orchestra
performed Preston's Tapestry for Strings this spring during
its annual String Day. The performance was wonderful, and garnered interest
from other orchestra directors.

January 12th, Music in the Great Halls Concert Series premiered Preston Hutt's Entr'acte, a chamber piece for clarinet, viola, cello, and
piano, written specifically for this special presentation to young
audiences. (posted 1/13/02)
►Sum of Each had a
wonderful turn-out at its CD release party Dec. 16th at the Recher Theatre
in Towson where reggae star Jimmy Cliff performed unplugged the next night. SOE's show was recorded live.
